So today I weighed myself and my efforts have been rewarded. I was down 1.2lbs putting me at 170.2lbs.
For the past 6 weeks I was hopping between 171.2 and 172.2lbs. Every week I would move around in that range and I was driving me crazy! So this week I did three things differently and saw results.
1- I tracked EVERYTHING. If it went in my mouth it was tracked. I often nibble on Lilly's food without tracking it because I don't even realize it.
2- I tacked my bread as a recipe. We make it in a bread maker and 1 slice of it as a recipe is worth 2 store bought. I eat a lot of bread so I think tracking it more accurately helped, since I often ran out of points and had to find low point snacks, like fruits and vegetables, to fill me up.
3- I avoided processed foods. I ate more fruit, veggies and lean protein and avoided things like store bought/canned stuff, and I think it made a huge difference.
I plan to keep this up next week and maybe with a bit of luck and determination, I'll see the 160's!
