Training continues.

I survived my first actual run of my marathon training. But not only did I manage my 8km tempo run today, I finished it before 7:30am! I am so proud that I actually got up to feed Katrina and after eating my mini bowl of oatmeal was out the door at 6:28am! I was back 58 minutes later and feeling like a million bucks. I will admit that this run was particularly hard on me since it was so early and my legs felt like they were made of lead, but I pushed through and managed to hit my pace goal, and everything was great.

I'm so happy that I managed to finally get my tushie out of bed, feed my little angle and then still get my run on. I felt amazing today not having to worry about running. We went to the park, had a lovely walk to and from the grocery store, and spent a lot of time playing. I even managed to cut out the pieces of fabric that I'll need to sew another dress for each of my girls. I hope to have them done before I go back to work.

I'm feeling sad about the whole going back to work. I keep thinking about all the things I'm going to miss. Right now I'm down to only 14 more work days at home until I start back at the office. But that is a post for another day.
